The Lab
We develop new neuroimaging methods for looking at the workings of the human brain using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). To do so, we combine ideas from spin physics, advanced signal processing and information theory. We have two major goals: to develop better ways of detecting and monitoring major diseases, including multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury and major depression; and to understand what neurochemical changes occur in the brain when we face an external stimulus (i.e. functional MRS)
Come Join Us!
The lab is multidisciplinary, and we recruit from many different disciplines, from engineering and physics to chemistry, neuroscience and even psychology. Make sure to check the Available Positions, and read up on our Research as well.
