The event took place at Kibbutz Ga’ash on November 11. Among the speakers were Weizmann President Prof. Daniel Zajfman; Prof. Fleishman; and the daughter of the late Barry and Honey Sherman, Alexandra Sherman Krawczyk. Sherman Institute inaugurated A n evening event marking the establishment of the Dr. Barry Sherman Institute for Medicinal Chemistry celebrated the visionary gift of the Sherman family of Toronto to advance research on drug discovery. Those honored were: Ș Dr. Mark Alexander, for establishing the Norman E. Alexander Family M Foundation Wing in the André Deloro Building for Advanced and Intelligent Materials. Ș Laurent and Nathalie Amar and Canadian friends for their support for the Quantum Foundry in the Center for Advanced and Intelligent Materials. Ș Kenneth Cooper, representing the M. Judith Ruth Foundation, for establishing the M. Judith Ruth Institute for Preclinical Brain Research.
