At Cornell I still played the game -- in between experiments -- and in 1983 even made it into the local paper!
My U.S. career did not last for long. By 1985 I was back in Israel, as a scientist at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot. I continued to play, but only once a week because there was simply no time.
Our Materials Science team was notorious for losing most of its games. Here we are:
