Overview

Microsoft Copilot365 is an AI-powered tool integrated across Microsoft 365 applications, designed to enhance creativity and productivity. Its key features include:

  • Copilot Chat: Introduces an AI chat feature that allows users to interact with the AI across Microsoft 365 apps, facilitating quick information retrieval and task execution.
  • Word Integration: Assists in drafting, editing, and summarizing documents, enabling users to generate and refine content efficiently.
  • Excel Integration: Offers data analysis capabilities, such as generating formulas, creating visualizations, and providing insights, simplifying complex data tasks.
  • PowerPoint Integration: Facilitates the creation of presentations by designing slides, suggesting layouts, and summarizing content, streamlining the presentation development process.
  • Outlook Integration: Aids in drafting emails, summarizing lengthy threads, and suggesting responses, enhancing email communication efficiency.

License Terms

  • The price for the 1st subscription year is $30 per user/month.
  • Registration is available to all members of the Weizmann Institute community with a primary institutional Exchange Online(365) email account.
  • Interactions with Copilot365 are mainly facilitated through an Office 365 add-in, which is deployed only when you are signed into the Office application with your primary email account. Computers using earlier Office versions or those signed in with a non-institutional Office account, will not have access to the full functionality of Copilot365.

Registration

  1. Ask your departmental secretariat to register you for the Copilot resource in Internal Services.
  2. After a successful assignment of the license by IT, you will receive an email notification about the closure of the order.
  3. The Copilot add-in icon will gradually appear in your Office applications. In order to speed up the add-in deployment process you may want to restart your computer.
  4. Regardless of the add-in functionality, you may browse the Copilot365 chatbot via https://m365.cloud.microsoft/chat .
