Algorithm Developer

We are looking for an exceptional candidate for the role of Algorithm Developer to join our team in Israel.
If you are interested in developing algorithms and tools to solve difficult problems with biological and medical applications, this is a position for you.

Position description
• You will be developing new tools and adapting existing ones to enable analysis of large and unique datasets that we are generating.
• The tools you will develop will require you to apply a combination of efficient algorithms and data structures with statistical modeling to allow the users to gain insights fast and cost-effectively.
• You will direct development of bioinformatic pipelines

Requirements:
• M.Sc./Ph.D. in CS / bioinformatics / mathematics / physics / engineering or at least three years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical & computational skills.
• Team player, ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of one of: C/C++/Java.
• Experience in developing tools to solve data analysis problems.
• Fluency in Python.
Nice to have
• Background in statistics.
• Experience in HPC / cloud-based environment.
• Experience with sequencing data.
• Interest in biology.
