Lead Chemist

A Foodtech start-up is seeking for a Lead Chemist for one of our portfolio companies developing antimicrobial technology.

Job responsibilities

Lead the chemistry technological development, including planning and hands-on execution of peptide synthesis, optimization and scale up processes.

Establish and Execute work programs.

Develop and participate in applications testing programs. 

Communicate, verbally and via presentations, both the underlining scientific fundamentals, results and potential applications.  

Job requirements

MS/PhD in /Chemistry (peptide Chemistry background – an advantage).

Solid background in chemical synthesis and analyses.

Industrial experience and demonstrated success in product development - an advantage

Experience in water, food or other related industries – an advantage

Fluent in English

Good analytical and creative thinking, with strong problem-solving skills and an ability to identify new technologies.
