Chiral Induced Spin-Selectivity Effect
The chiral-induced spin selectivity (CISS) effect was recently established experimentally and theoretically. The CISS effect opens the possibility of using chiral molecules in spintronics applications and for providing a deeper understanding of spin-selective processes in biology.
