Steering Committee

The governing body is the steering committee, which discusses policies and recommends future directions and financial allocations of this initiative to the President.

The steering committee consists of:

• The Vice President (Chair), Prof. Ziv Reich
• Dean of Chemistry, Prof. Yinon Rudich
• Dean of Biochemistry, Prof. Avraham Levy

• Dr. Laurence Rubin
• Mr. Yossie Hollander

The Scientific Director (Prof. Ron Milo) participates in the meetings of the steering committee. He presents the scientific reports and proposals or directions of future research.

Research Proposals, Submission and Evaluation

• Every year a Call will be published, inviting submission of single-lab or collaborative research grant applications for the next year, and for extensions of running grants that expire.
• Proposals will be scientifically internally reviewed within the Weizmann Institute.
