The Organic Synthesis Unit carried out the syntheses of a variety of molecules containing different spin labels (e.g., Gadolinium(III), nitroxyl) that are used by Prof. Daniella Goldfarb’s group to carry out research on protein conformation using novel Electron Spin Resonance methods.
