Peres River is located on the border of the Judean desert and northern Aravah. The river is an important source of water for desert wildlife. Past the waterfall that descends from the cisterns, the path re-connects to the ravine and we will ascend to take in a breathtaking view of the Dead Sea Valley and the northern Aravah. On the southeast side of the viewpoint, we can see the ravines of Kikar Sdom and the large rivers that drain the Northern Aravah and Kikar Sdom – the Zin River, the Amatzia River, and the Aravah River.
