Visit the Old City of Jerusalem and the beautiful Ein Karem neighborhood.
Itinerary:
07:30 Departure from the parking bay in front of the Sela Auditorium.
08:30 – 08:50 Lookout from Mount of Olives and breakfast
09:00 – 10:30 Walk down from Mt. of Olives to Gethsemane garden and church
10:30-13:30 Walk up to the Lion’s Gate at to the old city of Jerusalem and follow Via Dolorosa route passing through the 14 stations of the cross, ending with a visit to the Church of Holy Sepulcher.
13:30-14:00 Drive to Ein Karem
14:00-14:20 Lunch Break – Toilets and coffee shops are available
14:20-16:00 Tour of the beautiful, picturesque Ein Karem, located on the western side of Jerusalem. We will hear the story of John the Baptist and visit Church St. John the Baptist church and the church of Visitation.
16:00 – 17:30 Drive back to Rehovot
17:30 Anticipated return to Rehovot.
