Thirst for Knowledge

Slake your thirst for scientific knowledge—on everything from stem cells to power cells—at the next series Science on Tap in Tel Aviv. Every spring, 50 bars across the city host popular lectures (in Hebrew) by Weizmann Institute scientists and students.

These bar-side chats will give patrons a chance to listen, ask questions, and familiarize themselves with some of the fascinating discoveries that are driving Weizmann Institute research forward—all while relaxing with a glass of beer or wine in hand.

The talks are produced in cooperation with Time Out Tel Aviv and focus on cover almost every area of Institute inquiry. This is the seventh Science on Tap event since the Weizmann Institute launched highly popular series in 2010, and many institutions and organizations throughout Israel – and abroad - have initiated similar bar-and-café lectures events since.
