Vaccination station

Briefs

Date: April 7, 2021

Israel’s COVID-19 vaccination
campaign has been rolled out successfully across the country, with a higher percentage of citizens receiving the vaccination than in any country in the world. Most Israeli have received their two-shot series through one of the country’s four HMOs. Nevertheless, the Weizmann Institute did its share to make sure vaccines were available to its entire community, which also includes international scientists and students who don’t necessarily belong to any of the national HMOs. In late February, the Institute set up a temporary vaccination station on campus for all faculty, students, and staff who hadn’t yet had a chance to be inoculated with the first dose; another station was set up three weeks later, in mid-March, for second doses.
