Events in Germany

On February 19, 20, and 21, the German Society of the Weizmann Institute of Science hosted events in Munich, Hamburg, and Berlin. Dr. Hagen Hofmann, from the Department of Structural Biology, spoke on “The Biology of Coincidence and Necessity”.

The German Society is chaired by Dr. Manfred Gentz. The event held in Munich was hosted by Mr. Gil Bachrach, Chairman of the Bavarian chapter of the German Society of Friends. The Hamburg event was hosted Dr. Nadja Sievers, Chair of the Northern Germany chapter of the German Society. The events were attended by a diverse group of philanthropists and friends from throughout Germany.
