Rosh Hashana toast with Danny Robas

The annual Rosh Hashana toast hosted by the Israel Friends of the Weizmann Institute and WeizmannVibe was held at Sheva in Tel Aviv in September.
Prof. Amos Tanay spoke about Big Data in medicine in a talk entitled “Why doesn’t it work and why we can’t fix it.” Prof. Tanay is one of the leading researchers in the Institute’s Bench-to-Bedside Program, which connects scientists and medical professionals and enables them to utilize data and data analysis tools to create new technological tools for predicting disease and advancing personalized medicine.
Guests enjoyed a performance by singer Danny Robas. Prof. Tanay, who is also a jazz player, came on stage with Robas and performed together.
