Argentinian power players come to campus

On November 8, Pollera Pantalón, a distinguished delegation of 12 influential female entrepreneurs from Argentina, visited the campus of the Weizmann Institute of Science.
The group, part of the Consejo Interamericano de Comercio y Producción (CICYP), or in English, the Inter-American Council for Trade and Production, came to Israel to establish business relationships and learn more about Israeli business practices, technological innovation, and gender equality.
The delegation was comprised of lawyers, scientists, physicians, accountants, and journalists, all of whom hold high-level positions in their professional fields.
During their visit to the Weizmann campus, the group met Prof. Karina Yaniv from the Department of Biological Regulation. Prof. Yaniv gave an overview of the Weizmann Institute and shared her personal experience as a Weizmann scientist.
