Connecting Minds in São Paulo

Luis and Sonia Terepins graciously hosted an event for Connecting Minds in Brazil at their São Paulo home on October 24.
The event was a joint effort of Luis Terepins, Luis Stuhlberger, Marcos Lederman, and Mario Fleck, President of the Brazilian Association of Friends of the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Vice President for Resource Development Prof. Israel Bar-Joseph provided an overview of the Institute to the more than 100 guests in attendance, all of them leaders in the realms of finance, business, and academia in Brazil.
He was followed by Dr. Ruth Scherz-Shouval from the Department of Biomolecular Sciences who spoke about her research on the tumor microenvironment.
