In September, the Mexican Friends Association hosted in Mexico Prof. Rony Paz, Head of the Department of Neurobiology.
Prof. Paz gave a lecture entitled Understanding the Brain: From Memory to Depression and Anxiety at the Sephardi Community Center, with 130 people in attendance. He also gave a scientific lecture at Cinvestav – the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute.
Martha and Manuel Flisser graciously hosted a dinner at their home in honor of Rolando and Sarah Uziel and Shimon and Golde Picker for their extraordinary support of the Weizmann Institute and to welcome Prof. Paz. Pictured above: Prof. Paz speaking at the Comunidad Sefaradi.
