A visit to Brazil by Weizmann Institute President Prof. Daniel Zajfman in December included a Science on Tap lecture attended by 150 Brazilian friends on Dec. 8. The event was co-organized by the Brazilian Association of Friends and Hebraica. Prof. Zajfman spoke about “How to Change the World: Curiosity-Driven Research”. Composer and physician Manu Lafer was accompanied by Ricardo Baldacci Quartet in a special musical performance following the talk. It was the second Science on Tap lecture in Brazil; the first featured Prof. Israel Bar-Joseph, Vice President of Resource Development and Public Affairs.
