Prof. Tamir Klein's project was approved by Bina nurture committee

We congratulate Prof. Tamir Klein from the Tree Lab at the Weizmann Institute of Science on his successful approval by the Bina Committee under the Nurture program.

This groundbreaking project, led by Hagar Fox, is based on her PhD studies, which was co-mentored with Rakefet David-Schwartz.
Their innovative research aims to develop drought-resistant trees with improved water use efficiency, addressing the challenges of global climate change.
We are excited to support this project with mentorship from our forestry expert, Prof. Nir Atzmon, who will provide a solid foundation for these pioneering studies with an industrial perspective.

Project guidance is provided by Reut Mashiach from the Bina team and Jacob - Orry Fierer from YEDA.
