High Performance Computing available in the Department of Chemical Physics
The Chemical Physics Department has at its disposal a part of the Chemistry faculty high performance InfiniBand cluster, Chemfarm. The department members can use dual socket x86 servers with 48 to 256 CPU cores per server and 192 GB to 1.5 TB memory per server. Total of 1,392 CPUs and 6 TB memory. Each machine has an internal hard drive for scratch and 160 TB space on shared parallel storage system. More information can be found here.
