Rotem Marcel Azoulay
Rotem Azoulay is a conductor and a flutist. She has always loved music and, as a child, wanted to play the violin but ended up choosing the flute instead. In high school, she studied music at Wizo school of the arts in Haifa, where she first fell in love with performing music. After her military service, she studied at the Makamat Academy of Music, specializing in performing Eastern and North African music. There, she discovered a new passion - conducting. Soon after, the incredible opportunity to lead the Weizmann Orchestra presented itself. Today, Rotem is continuing her conducting journey under the guidance of maestro Barak Tal.
