Mrs. Ronat-Mantoux is deeply involved in philanthropy, with a special interest in science and medicine. She and her husband Pascal Mantoux have been dedicated supporters of the Weizmann Institute for many years, as well as members of the Israel Friends Association of the Institute. They are generously supporting the work of Prof. Jacob (Yaqub) Hanna, a leading scientist in the field of stem cells research. They funded Prof. Hanna’s initial startup package in 2012, shortly after he was recruited, and continue supporting his lab, which is located in the Ilana and Pascal Mantoux Wing for Stem Cell Research of the Meyer Building, dedicated in loving memory of their parents.  The Mantoux family has recently committed to increasing their support of Prof. Hanna’s research, focusing on possible clinical applications of his findings in the field of stem cells.
Mrs. Ronat-Mantoux and her husband also endorsed a unique collaboration between Institute scientists and clinical experts from the Sheba Medical Center, ultimately leading to the development of novel clinical approaches to health and disease.
In 2013, the Mantoux family established the Ilana and Pascal Mantoux Institute for Bioinformatics, one of the four pillars of the Nancy and Stephen Grand Israel National Center for Personalized Medicine, which provides professional data analysis services for life sciences investigators on campus and across Israel.
In addition to her philanthropic work in the sciences, Mrs. Ronat-Mantoux also supports the arts and is a member of the Israeli Opera board.
