I, not we
The title ‘mom’ is a gamechanger. We all know that by now.
Expectations, guilt, lack of sleep, more expectations, ambition, career building, competitiveness, more guilt- it basically never ends.
But does being a woman and a mom also change the way you communicate your science? The way you present your ideas to your PI and lab members? The way you exude confidence and stand out?
Meital Salmor, a science communication strategist and trainer (and not at all a researcher), will give you her perspective on how she sees researchers, who also happen to be women and moms, act in those scenarios.
Being a woman and a longtime mom herself, she’ll also share her personal insights and the struggles she went through by becoming a pioneer in her field in Israel.
