The Goal of WISe
The goal of the Weizmann Institute of Science Entrepreneurship Club (WISe Club) is to expose Weizmann's students to the world of technology entrepreneurship and be their doorway into it. We firmly believe that Weizmann's alumni must lead in every single vertical of our society – academia, industry and entrepreneurship and that we must find ways to help them do so.
The WISe Program
The WISe Club offers Weizmann's students an exclusive program consisting of lectures and seminars that were tailor maid to provide them the basic knowledge and skills necessary in order to launch and grow a startup venture. In addition, lay the foundations of their own startup during the program, accompanied by mentorship and support from experienced Weizmann alumni and other key players in the startup ecosystem.
The program relies mostly on Weizmann's alumni. This allows us to leverage their knowledge in favor of current students and their future. Together, students and alumni, we wish to form a strong network that allows us to strengthen both our global and individual impacts.
The broad range of disciplines in the Institute as well as the broad range of the Alumni's specializations allows a rich and interdisciplinary community to form and an exposure to a diversity of fields.
Our Agenda
- Weizmann's alumni must lead in every single vertical of our society – academia, industry and the startups ecosystem. It is our mission to maximize our alumni’s potential.
- Strengthen the ‘Weizmann Network’ and increase our global and individual impacts by leveraging the alumni’s experience in favor of current students and their future.
- Strengthen the relation of the Weizmann Institute with its alumni.
