- The EM Unit staff provides basic training for all instruments at the EM Unit. After a trial period, users can work independently 24/7, with discounts for evening and weekend use. EM staff provide ongoing support and advanced training as required.
- Users must undergo Safety training by the safety trustee before using the Chemistry Lab for sample preparation and Instrument in the EMU.
- No food or beverages are allowed in the microscope rooms.
- No one may work at any instrument without previously scheduling through Internal Services. Undocumented use of instruments may cause withdrawal of permission for use.
- Student and staff of the Weizmann Institute of Science, who are interested in training for a specific instrument or technique should send this request form, using the Internal Services system (requires WIS user name & password).
