Safety
The X-ray lab unit is under the supervision of the Weizmann Institute Safety radiation unit and monitored by the inspectors appointed by the Israeli government. All equipment is inspected annually and licensed for use. A Geiger Counter is available in Room 153. Rules might change and new requirements will be applied. Only authorized persons are allowed entry to the lab with the use of their approved Institute Worker Card.
Due to the large volumes of LN in use, the X-ray lab is equipped with O2 sensors.
If the O2 sensor alarms are triggered, you must exit the lab immediately.
