Learning Hebrew

Levels 1 & 2

We are glad to offer Hebrew lessons as subsidized courses on campus, overseen by the FGS in all academic aspects of the courses. The lessons are for FGS Internationals, FGS new immigrants, WIS Internationals employees, and their spouse. WIS employees who are new immigrants should contact the HR Organizational learning section to check options.

• Level 1 is for complete beginners. Next courses: 10 November 2024 - 9 February 2025, and 16 March - 25 June 2025. 
• Level 2 is for those who have studied 50 hours of Hebrew. Next course: 16 March - 25 June 2025.
• 24 lessons, twice a week, in the evening (90 min.).
• 300 shekels including materials.
• Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Registration details will be advertised here and via email in mid-October and mid-February.

Levels 3, 4, 5

The lessons are held in small groups on campus in the evening. Levels 3, 4, and 5 are run privately by Mrs. Amit Cohen:

Ulpan La-Inyan A comprehensive Hebrew-learning experience focusing on the skills needed for conversation.
