Learning Hebrew

Levels 1 & 2

We are glad to offer Hebrew lessons as subsidized courses on campus, overseen by the FGS in all academic aspects of the courses. The lessons are for FGS Internationals, FGS new immigrants, WIS Internationals employees, and their spouse. WIS employees who are new immigrants should contact the HR Organizational learning section to check options.

• Level 1 is for complete beginners, Level 2 is for those who have studied 50 hours of Hebrew.
• Runs twice a year: November to February, and from March to June.
• 24 lessons, twice a week, in the evening.
• 300 shekels including materials.

The next courses will start in November 2024 and run until the end of February 2025. Registration details will be advertised Mid-October on this page and through our newsletter.

Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Levels 3, 4, 5

The lessons are held in small groups on campus in the evening. Levels 3, 4, and 5 are run privately by Mrs. Amit Cohen:

Ulpan La-Inyan A comprehensive Hebrew-learning experience focusing on the skills needed for conversation.
