Benjamin Weiss
Benjamin studied music and the clarinet in France and Switzerland. He joined the orchestra in 2022. As a scientist, Benjamin is currently doing his postdoctorate in biochemistry at the institute.
Aurore Dupin
Aurore is a chemist, a baker, and a flutist. She learned to play the flute as a child but had only played solo. When she joined the orchestra, she hadn't played for 10 years, and it was the first time she played in a group. When the Orchestra plays the first note of a piece in perfect harmony, it's a beautiful moment for her.
Emma Zwi
Originally from Australia, Emma came to Israel for her MSc in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.
Emma has been part of orchestras for as long as she can remember. She picked up the oboe at age 7, and music has been an integral part of part of her life ever since. She toured the US and Israel with her youth orchestra but put down her instrument for a few years until a recent alumni reunion encouraged her to join the orchestra at Weizmann.
