The Weizmann Tree Lab provides answers from the frontier of eco-physiology research.
- We discover new insights into how trees cycle water and nutrients between leaves, stems, and roots— including a “carbon trade” between roots of nearby trees.
- We investigate the drought-resistance mechanisms of trees.
- We adapted greenhouses with double the concentration of CO2 we have today to mimic what greenhouse gases might have in store for life on Earth 80 years from now.

Qualifications:

M.Sc. in Biology, Agriculture, or a related field

Highly independent, hands-on, and self-motivated

High organization skills, thoroughness, and meticulousness

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
