Genetically engineered mouse models are essential tools for elucidating the mammalian genome and as models for human disorders. The Transgenic and Knockout Unit is dedicated to producing genetically modified mice via transgenic and gene targeting methodologies, using state of the art techniques. Our services include the production, maintenance, rederivation, genotyping, importing, and archiving of genetically modified mice.
