The Little Prince | Mark Osborne
An American-French version of The Little Prince, a children’s classic written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, which combines computerized animation and Saint-Exupéry’s original hand-drawn illustrations.
The film is structured around the original story of a young girl whose parents impose a coaching life plan to prepare her for the adult world as being both her and their priority. She, however, prefers the company of a funny neighbor across the road who has an old wooden plane in his yard and that, years previously, he had had to make a forced landing in the middle of the desert.
The character of the pilot from the book is dubbed by Shlomo Artzi.
The film, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, received critical acclaim.
