Sela Jazz Bar #3 Andalusian Jazz | Yogev Shitrit Trio
The third performance in the Jazz series at Sela Bar, a new show ahead of the release of the Yogev Shitrit Trio’s third album.
Instrumental music composed, produced and arranged by Yogev: traditional music from the house where he grew up, Andalusian, Moroccan, and Israeli music, combined with contemporary jazz. Melodic, rhythmic music that is full of life.
Yogev Shitrit, drummer and composer, holds a bachelor’s degree in musicology from the Hebrew University. Since 2016, the trio has performed in more than forty countries at festivals and clubs, including the prestigious Panama Jazz Festival and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., one of the most coveted stages in the US. Recorded two studio albums and two live albums.
