The Merbl lab develops approaches to study epiProteome regulation in health and disease. At the crossroads of basic and translational research, we pioneer innovative technologies to uncover how dynamic post-translational modifications and proteasomal degradation shape the proteomic landscape, across human diseases. By tackling fundamental questions with interdisciplinary approaches—bridging biochemistry, immunology, computational biology, and in vivo models—we aim to drive discoveries to real-world impact.
