About the
Weizmann School of Science (WSOS)

Training the next generation of scientific leaders.
The Weizmann School of Science encapsulates the Weizmann spirit of inquiry and discovery. Since its establishment in 1958 as the academic arm of the Weizmann Institute of Science, responsible for all student and postdoctoral affairs, the graduate school has established itself as a world-class center of multidisciplinary education and training. At the Weizmann School of Science, students and postdocs from Israel and around the world strive to reach the highest levels of knowledge and understanding, under the guidance of leading Weizmann principal investigators across the natural and exact sciences.
As part of the Weizmann School of Science, you will be part of the Institute’s prestigious history of achievement, which includes Nobel and Turing laureates, and leaders in Israel’s thriving industry and start-up sectors. Weizmann graduate students devote their time to both academic research and practical lab work, using cutting-edge techniques and state-of-the-art equipment as they train directly with research groups at the forefront of their fields internationally.
The Weizmann School of Science charges no tuition fees and provides monthly living stipends for all students and postdoctoral fellows, allowing them to be fully immersed in their studies and research. The language of instruction is English.
