Admission Requirements for MD-PhD Program (For BSc/MSc Graduates)
- Academic Qualifications:
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science (BSc/MSc), engineering, nursing, or other health-related fields (excluding humanities and social sciences), with a minimum average grade of 85.
- Students who have completed their second year of undergraduate studies in these disciplines may apply. However, please note that admission to the program requires the completion of a bachelor’s degree before the program's commencement.
- Graduates with a master’s degree must have achieved a minimum average grade of 85 in their bachelor’s studies and a minimum average grade of 90 in their master’s program.
- Core Course Requirements:
There are core course requirements for all applicants. Please note that the names of the courses may vary between institutions. Core courses have a validity period limited to 10 years. A minimum grade of 80 is required in each of the seven core courses.

Third-year MD students in a six-year program may apply with a minimum average grade of 85, without any requirements for grades in core courses.

Applications will be accepted only from Israeli citizens or permanent residents.

Hebrew Proficiency:
Applicants holding both an overseas high school diploma and an overseas bachelor's degree must pass the YAEL Hebrew proficiency test with a minimum grade of 120; all other combinations are exempt.

Applicants may apply for the program up to three times. After three unsuccessful attempts, further applications will not be accepted.
